Briana wrote a great post (with pictures) about how to recycle your broken crayons and make some new ones! I have always wanted to do this and she makes it sound so simple. So instead of buying another box of crayons, why not make your own. You can even make fun shapes and new colors!

Priceless Post: Facebook for Freebies Only… I need the Freebies Not the Friends!

A while back my mom told me that the only reason she has a Facebook was so she could score all the great deals and freebies I share on my site. She noticed that a lot of the freebies required a Facebook page so she set one up BUT soon after doing that people from her past started coming out of the woodwork that she was not real sure she wanted to talk to! My mother also started getting requests from people that she did not know and she was not sure if she was being scammed or what was going on. So she decided to delete her account at the cost of all those wonderful freebies!

I began to think, there has to be another way. Thankfully at about the same time I read this post by Shannon at For the Mommas about how to set your Facebook account to private so NO ONE even knows you have one! This is exactly what my mom (and maybe you) need! Following the steps in her post makes you basically invisible on Facebook!

Priceless Post: Make Money By Trading In Your Old Phones and Ipods!

Erin over at Coupon Carvings wrote up a very useful post for all of us who have old gadgets cluttering up up our junk drawers! She tell us how to trade in our old gadgets (iPods and cell phones for example) for cash or gift cards! This post if definitely worth a read if you have some old technology around the house and you are looking to make some extra money!

Some other ideas for “recycling” you old technology are:

Sell you phone on Ebay. My sister has done this and made some great money off of her old phones. Also you can trade your gear on Swagbucks as well if you are a member!
