I made a quick run to Target today or so I thought. To my surprise the holiday items were all 75% off. I scored some great stuff for very cheap. I was expecting the holiday items to go 75% off tomorrow and that appears to be the case in most areas except mine. It may be to your benefit to make a stop by Target tomorrow if you need any holiday items for next year. I also picked up some good stuff for the rest of the year as well.
Here is a great thread over at one of my favorite boards that keeps track of Target clearance. You might be able to find someone in your area to see if your area is on 75% of clearance yet like mine is.
Some of the great items 75% off that I noticed are:
- Holiday Marshmallows – $0.29 a bag
- Turtle Wax Car Care Kit – Approx. $7.50 after 75% off (Great for a Father’s Day Gift or Birthday all year long. There is no holiday wrapping or anything on it and my store had a ton of these.)
- Lots of Holiday stocking stuffers and bags of holiday candy that would be great for Birthday treat bags.
- Green extension cords
- Paper towels (2 pack) and napkins (holidays themed) $0.75 a piece (I think)
- Large Rolls (180 sq. ft) of wrapping paper for next year $1.29 approx. a roll
- Ritz Crackers $0.75 a box (these have a holiday theme on the box)
- 250 sheet tissue paper packs for $0.99
***Don’t forget to bring your coupons for any of these items. I saw Pillsbury cake mixes and frosting so you could use coupons on those. I am sure there are many coupons that could be used.
I also got a lot of decorations for my house for very cheap like some lighted garland and candles. I got some holiday themed baby and toddler clothes for next year and a very cute snow globe for my niece – ALL for 75% off!
Currently there is a lot of toys for 30% off. They should go to 50% and 75% off the first and second week of January. I am figuring and this is just a guess, sometime around the 8th. I will let you know.
So if you need any of this stuff I would recommend you check out your store tomorrow and see if there is anything left.
